Choice of Party

"When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation...."

What does this mean to the rEVOLution and what does it mean to you...

When the party which you belong to casts your voice out and gives you no say in their proceedings, you are free to choose to stay with that party and try to change it from the inside or to leave the party and search for a party that holds your same values.

To try to change the party you need to get more into the party, you need to join the party events, meet the party members and hear the party propaganda. You need to make notes of the meeting and record the meeting, study the meeting and the positions that the party takes. You need to run in local elections within the party, become that party's candidate and really change the party by working in the party. This may take some time to accomplish but well worth the effort.

The other choice you have is to leave the party altogether and search for a party that matches your positions and values as much as you want it to. When looking at the other parties consider their positions now and their record following those positions, how they defend those positions and if they give in to gain little political ground.
