When trying to explain the current foreign policy of the
United States to those that have no knowledge of policy I find it easier, as
sad as this sounds, to dumb it down and bring it to a more personal level.
This is my simple statement.
If you believe that the United States
foreign policy is sound and that it is a model that makes us safe and secure without
any effects I purpose an experiment. I will come to your home and bring along a
few friends. They will set up camp on whatever part of your land or in your
home that they please. They will be placed there so that I can feel secure that
you will not try to attack my property or myself. My friends will be armed as
to stop any potential threat that you may become. My agents will tell you how
to do things in and around your property and will limit and restrict your
movement and communications. My agents can do anything that they wish and will
have the complete support of myself no matter what they do to your property,
family or your life. If at any time I feel that you have become a threat I will
have my agents destroy your property, kill yourself and/or your family. Another
possibility would be that I feel you are no threat to me at this time but I should
keep my presence in your life to deter any instance of attack or threat on my
life or property.
This is the exact model of the
United States foreign policy.
