Why is it that we are the target or
threat of violence? Why do we always have to play defense? What have we done to
deserve this terrorism and extremism?
I have heard these questions and
many like them and I have to say it’s very easy to answer. Why are we a target?
Because we make ourselves targets. Why do we always have to play defense?
Obviously you haven’t been paying attention since World War 2, we have been on
an all-out, worldwide OFFENSIVE measure to conquer and reconstruct the world’s
largest empire. WE have terrorized and manipulated every country in the world
in some way since the conclusion of WW2. What have we done to deserve this
terrorism and extremism? What have we not done? We have invaded foreign lands,
assassinated their leaders and replaced them with dictators and tyrants only to
turn around and overthrow them too. We have starved innocent civilians in an
attempt to turn power over to ourselves. We have created and intentionally
spread diseases to control and restrict the populations. We have caused
blockades and regulations on trade between nations. We have subjected the
citizens to ridicule and scorn. We have bombed cities and towns where innocent
civilians were killed and no militant forces were found to be there. Yet we are
the all-powerful America, we are the light of the earth, the most diplomatic
and well behaved country ever, that was sarcasm for those not able to pick it
up. We as Americans have let our leaders
put targets on our heads, there are multiple countries in the world that we as
Americans just cannot go, in fear for our lives and safety because we allow the
behavior of barbarians.
What
can we do but wait, well we could protest and call for an immediate withdrawal
of our forces, we can overthrow our own government and establish a more
peaceful government, we could not approve of these actions through a completely
voluntary tax system and re-election process of our politicians. When the
people of this nation realize the effects of being the world police and the destruction
force of the world, we could I think move forward as human beings. We have been
waging war upon our own people for generations and it has gotten us nowhere but
millions of young men and women just like us to be killed and trillions upon
trillions of dollars in debt. What have
we gained from this but resentment from the world population who see America as
bullies and instigators?
What can we do but educate our
youth our next generation of voters and politicians. We need to instill proper
values and morals; we need to rid our youth of the greed and warmongering that
has plagued us. We need to educate our future generations on compassion and
humanity, before humanity is wiped out altogether. We need a reemergence of
personal responsibility and ethics. The bombings taking place every day in
nations all over the globe, being perpetrated by our country the United States
of America. We have seen from the past the results of totalitarian rule and
have entered into the very midst of it again, we have seen the barbaric nature
of man yet have embraced its grasp, we have seen the horrors of unfounded fears
and hate, yet we as Americans do this on a daily basis. We have to reevaluate
our course and alter it if able. We need to take a look at the future we want
and the legacy we want to leave behind. Our very humanity rests on the
shoulders of the future generation and the education and upbringing that they
receive.
But have we answered why they hate
US? With the blockade from food and medical services to the citizens of
countries based on their government’s actions, with the usage of drone aircraft
to kill entire villages, most often with no militant forces in them, with the
sanctions and trade regulations, embargoes and outright refusal of goods, why
would they hate US, we are the greatest country on earth right? With our
history of coups and providing the opposing forces supplies and guidance, with the
deception, murder, pillage, fear mongering, accusations, assassinations, betrayal,
dominance, offense, and disregard for human life of all forms, why wouldn’t
they hate US? To change the society in
which we live we must change the people that we live with.
